I enjoyed seeing you two watching the light off the sea together :)
bette.

美沖 san、
I have visited your site and I could understand your name, b-oki.
I can not find such name 美沖 like as you.
If posible, let me know what meaning has your name.

sakuo.

hello sakuo san,
my pen name b'oki was given to me by an'ya when i took WHCBeginners haiku class in fall of 2002. it loosely translates to "a mermaid on an island in the middle of the sea". for me, the ocean is a source of inspiration and creativity, but i also love trees :) the "b" standing for my name and the "oki" meaning off-shore islands. although i cannot read or speak japanese (but someday hope to), this is only my humble English understanding!

Thank you for your kind reply.
I understand what does your name mean.
[b] stands holizontally on the island in [oki off-shore]
Also it has visual beauty.
Your profil show me you have interest in printing work.
Do you know the site refering Japanese Ukiyoe process in English.

That has been asked by Kamome san.

sakuo.

AMAZING!!!!!

Best wishes to all.....Now I see three lights
