Sakuo comment
hota is winter season word which means log.
Special part of wood, that is root dried well.
So the hota is well burn ,making warm the surrounding livings.

at last arriving at
the inn tonight

dear Sakuo san,

your work seems fine to me, but it's too much large for appreciating and enjoying the particulars (in my opinion!)... so, can you resize it?

I have changed my computer Soft from Xp to Vista.
I loose the feeling of size of picture.
You are very very helpful, I will adjust a little size.

i like this haiku very much.
issa has the spiritual view of the temple, while enjoying the hand-made warmth of the hota on his backside!

It takes much time to find that hota is wood root, and it belongs to winter season word.
We don't use the word hota, because we have no chance to burn the wood in daily life.
